Counter-Strike 2 Esports World Cup will take place in three parts,

Opening Stage

  • 14 teams take on each other in a single-elimination bracket where each match is a best-of-three series.

  • 7 winning teams advance to the Playoffs.

  • 7 losing teams drop down to the Resurrection Stage.

Resurrection Stage

  • 7 losing teams and 1 regional hero qualifier winner compete against each other in a single-elimination bracket where each match is a single game series.

  • Last surviving team advances to the Playoffs.

Playoffs

  • 7 teams from the Opening Stage and 1 team from the Resurrection Stage take on each other in a single elimination bracket where all matches are a best-of-three series.

  • The last remaining team will be crowned as the champion.
