The BLAST Premier World Final 2023 is all set to take place at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates from 13th to 17th December. It features a total prize pool of $1,000,000 USD and eight qualified teams will be giving their absolute best to be crowned champion.
This tournament will mark the end of the competitive season for BLAST Premier which began in January 2023. Throughout this season, eight teams managed to cement a slot for themselves and will be taking on each other in this final event.
BLAST Premier World Final 2023: Complete Details
BLAST is all set to organize the final tournament for the current Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) competitive season. The winner of this event will be crowned as the world champion and shall take the lion's share of the total prize money.
All teams competing in this event have secured their slot by qualifying through previous BLAST Premier events and a select few top-tier CS2 tournaments, elevating this competition to a whole new level.

BLAST Premier World Final 2023: Format
Group Stage
The eight qualified teams will be split into two groups of four teams each.
Both groups will be following a double-elimination GSL format bracket.
Every group stage match will follow a best-of-three series.
The top three teams from each group will move on to the playoffs.
Winners of both groups will directly advance to the Semifinals.
Second and third-placed teams will advance to the Quarterfinals.

The six qualifying teams will follow a single-elimination bracket.
Each and every playoff match will follow a best-of-three series.
The team standing at the end will be crowned as the world champion.
BLAST Premier World Final 2023: Prize Pool
The tournament features a total prize pool of $1,000,000 USD which will be split between all the eight competing teams.
The participants will receive a portion of the prize pool depending on their overall positioning in the tournament.
Out of the eight competing teams, two have secured their slots through previous BLAST Premier events, two have made it by winning other top-tier competitions, and four have qualified through BLAST's global leaderboard.
G2 Esports is the former champion and will be fighting to defend its throne against some of the best teams from around the world. It will be interesting to see if the title gets snatched by a new contender or will the current title holders successfully hold on to it.
