Mirage despite being one of the most played CS:GO map, has something interesting to offer if a user is dedicated enough to spend some time on it. A player who goes by the name of ‘dashR’ on YouTube, recently found out a really useful utility lineup for T-sided players. He claims this to be the fastest possible smoke lineup to block the CT entry into the ‘A-Site’, as the lineup barely takes 2 seconds to execute after the round starts. This lineup would of course need to be practiced thoroughly as it is a jump throw, and also it only works on 64-tick servers.
It is not easy to find a new utility lineup when it comes to a game as old as Counter-Strike. But still, some utterly curious and dedicated players spend hours coming up with new ways to smoke different choke points. The new lineups generally focus on either being a simpler version of an earlier method or a faster version of it.
YouTuber ‘dashR’ recently came up with one such lineup on Mirage, which he claims to be the fastest way to smoke CT entry into the ‘A-Site’. The jump smoke is not the easiest to execute and does take some time to get a hang of, but once perfected it can be a really useful smoke lineup cutting off the CT vision within just 2 to 3 seconds after a round starts.
The above clip shows that lining up this smoke quickly can be a bit of a hassle in the beginning. But it only gets better over time as you keep practicing the throw, and after a certain point of time, it will be an instinctive throw that you would be able to produce really quickly.
This is quite a smoke lineup irrespective of it being fast or slow, allowing the T-side to set up a fake right from the safety of their spawn or go for a lightning-fast ‘A-Site’ execute and catch the CT by surprise with their unfamiliar timing.
This handy smoke can be used in a lot of ways and does not put the team at any risk, maybe we can see some professional teams inculcating the lineup in some of their strats. They will be the ones who can pull out the maximum benefit from this particular smoke and maybe even make it mainstream.
