Dignitas have officially signed Jonas “Lekr0” Olofsson. The Swedish rifler will be taking over the spot of Haris "H4RR3" Hadzic, who was benched from Dignitas after five months of playing with the team. Lekr0, who last played for North, has been inactive ever since the organization stepped away from esports due to financial reasons. Before that, he played under the Swedish organization Ninjas in Pyjamas for two years. This move to Dignitas reunites Lekr0 with a previous NiP teammate Adam "friberg" Friberg. Together they hope to lead Dignitas into a winning form after the team’s poor start to the 2021 competitive season.

Dignitas add Lekr0 and bench H4RR3

Dignitas has announced the addition of Lekr0 to their CS:GO roster. He will be taking over the active lineup roles of H4RR3, who was moved to the bench after five months of playing with the team. He was benched to accommodate the immediate addition of Lekr0, reuniting the Swedish rifler with his former NiP teammate Friberg.

Since the start of 2021, Dignitas have finished 9th-10th at cs_summit 7, 5th-8th at the Vulkan Fight Series, and 13th-15th at Snow Sweet Snow #1. These poor results forced the organization to make immediate roster changes. They decided to bench H44R3 and add Lekr0 to the active lineup in hopes of getting better results in upcoming tournaments. In a statement posted online by H44R3, he mentions that  “I was informed yesterday that I was no longer in the active roster in Dignitas, and I just want to say I am glad I got the chance in the first place.”

Before joining Dignitas, Lekr0 had been inactive for five months. He last played in the DreamHack Masters Winter 2020: Europe before his previous organization, North, suddenly stepped down from esports. The Danish organization closed its esports division permanently in February 2021 due to the global pandemic.

H4RR3, who was benched to accommodate Lekr0, had been playing under Dignitas for only five months ever since the organization signed him from Nordavind. With his spot in the active lineup taken over, H4RR3 will look to join another organization soon.
