[Watch] Na’Vi Boombl4 Executes Insane Ninja Defuse to Defeat FaZe Clan

Cover-Credits:

  • Na'Vi IGL Boombl4 pulls off an insanely quick ninja defuse in a 1v3 clutch situation against FaZe Clan.
  • The tournament winning clutch extends Na'Vi win streak to 8 matches during which they have win 2 BLAST Premier tournaments.
  • This incredible ninja defuse was the highlight of the Group-C grand finals between FaZe Clan and Na'Vi.

Kirill “Boombl4” Mikhailov the in-game leader for Natus Vincere was really feeling himself in the finals of the recently concluded BLAST Premier: Spring Groups 2021. His individual performance on paper does not do justice to the way he was calling the shots for Na’Vi, making their star player Aleksandr 's1mple' Kostyliev shine even brighter. So when the time came for him to clutch the tournament winning round for Na’Vi, Boombl4 used his big brain energy to execute a flawless ninja defuse despite being outnumbered 3-to-1. This final play of the match turned out to be the highlight of the grand finals between FaZe Clan and Na’Vi, with both the teams qualifying for BLAST Premier: Spring Finals 2021.

Boombl4 executes 1v3 clutch ninja defuse

Boombl4 after successfully leading Na’Vi to a win against FaZe Clan on the first map Dust 2, which was not even their map helped Na’Vi cruise through Nuke as well. The CIS-based lineup had comfortably reached the ‘15-11’ scoreline, but one round win away from victory they faced a tense situation.

Facing a 1v3 post-plant situation on ‘A - Site’ and playing CT-sided, Boombl4 was in a tough spot. But the timing he hit while moving to heaven was so sweet that as soon as he reached there, Havard 'rain' Nygaard went down the ladder giving him a successful undetected entry. What followed next was a smooth drop from heaven to execute olofmeister who was holding the site alone, and then quickly defusing the C4 while dropping smoke for cover.

The clip above makes the whole execute look so easy, but it would have required some really precise timing to reach the C4 undetected and then defuse it in time also. Boombl4 really showed that he can hold his own in a clutch situation, extending Natus Vincere’s win streak to eight matches during which they have managed to win two BLAST Premier tournaments.
