ForZe Comes Under Fire For CS:GO Scrim Recording Controversy

The Russian CS:GO organization forZe just cannot catch a break as it comes under fire twice within a span of ten days. This time they have been called out by MAD Lions CS:GO coach Luis "peacemaker" Tadeu who shared a screenshot showing that forZe was using recording software during a scrim match between the two sides.

ForZe Called Out For CS:GO Scrim Recording Controversy

Just last week forZe came under fire as many prominent members of the CS:GO community including peacemaker himself called them out for hiring the ESIC banned coach Aleksandr "zoneR" Bogatyrev as a member of the forZe school’s “coaching staff”.

This time the organization has been called out again for following a very controversial practice of recording their scrim matches without the permission of their opponents. It was MAD Lion’s coach peacemaker who revealed via a screenshot that forZe played their practice match against them with “GOTV on” which is a big ‘NO’ when it comes CS:GO scrim ethics.

It might not be a formal rule per se but more of an unspoken agreement between teams as they trust each other not to follow such scummy behavior of reading up on their opponents. The same was pointed out by peacemaker as he said that the two teams will be playing against each other at the upcoming Flashpoint Season 2.

Former FaZe Clan coach Janko "YNk" Paunovic also joined in on the conversation further revealing that forZe had been doing this with them for a long time now and that every time FaZe played a practice match against forZe they had to “ask them to kick the GOTV every single time we’d practice on their server.”

According to YNk, “forZe was the only relevant team that had it.” No other team that FaZe had ever practiced with used to record practice matches. In his defense, all that forZe’s coach Sergey "lmbt" Bezhanov said was that he is not willing to argue on the matter with peacemaker and that he is “sorry for this incident and forgetting to kick GOTV.”

Lmbt just recently cleared his name from a 7.5-month coaching ban by ESIC becoming the first coach to have been officially rescinded of all the cheating claims against him. This seems to be an unnecessary headache for both him and the organization who seem to be caught up in a rather serious controversy.
