- S1mple gets banned from Twitch for the fourth time within 14 months.
- According to the player he was "banned for aggression towards a person".
- The duration of the ban is currently unknown.
Considered by many to be the best CS:GO player in the world Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev streams on Twitch a lot in his free time but unfortunately, he has had a tough relationship with the platform as his channel keeps getting banned every few months.
Today morning the 23-year-old Ukrainian was handed yet another Twitch ban for “aggression towards a person” who used a racial slur on his stream. S1mple in an attempt to condemn the user from not using the ‘racial slur’ said it once on his stream and it seems to have been enough to get him banned from the platform for the fourth time.
S1mple Banned From Twitch For The Fourth Time
While the duration of the ban is currently unknown the reason according to s1mple is that a user on his stream used a Russian racial slur, in order to condemn that user s1mple used the same racial slur with “a negative attitude towards it” and this seemed to have been a good enough reason for Twitch to hand the Ukrainian another ban from the platform.
The users upon hearing about this decision by Twitch were up in arms against the platform calling them out for being ignorant as they have failed to take effective measures against the plethora of scam streams, most of which are rebroadcast of s1mple’s stream and it has become a growing pain for both the users and the platform.
Some even pointed out that this could be Twitch hitting back at s1mple for calling them out a few days back about the scam stream problem. This is highly unlikely because s1mple was not the only one who had asked them for a solution, many other players and personalities were also involved in that particular case.

This is not the first time that s1mple has been banned from Twitch for using a racial slur, the very first ban which was handed to him in August last year was because of the very same reason and at the time he was banned for seven days.
Following this incident, he was banned once again in November last year but this time s1mple was not happy as he called out Twitch for not understanding the context in which a particular word was being used. At the time he has stated that “I’m tired of streaming on a terrible platform, always choosing the right words. If u give ban for nothing, then the rules should be the same for other streamers as well.”
The third ban was handed to him earlier this year in July and the reason for this one is still not known. Surprisingly s1mple did not take this news harshly, instead he engaged in a bit of banter mimicking Dr Disrespect to diss Twitch as that Tweet went viral.

Now getting banned for a fourth time for a similar reason as before Twitch might hand s1mple a harsher punishment though the community hopes that he is handed the minimum sentence of a seven-day ban.
