Is Olofmeister Planning On Coming Back?

Ever since taking an indefinite break from competitive Counter-Strike back in May due to fatigue and lack of motivation, olofmeister has remained on FaZe Clan’s bench as everyone awaits his return. Since going inactive in May this is the first time that the Swede has been spotted playing on FACEIT

He played a a game earlier today on Mirage but sadly lost the match which had other professional player like Havard “rain” Nygaard, Aurimas "Bymas" Pipiras, Guy "anarkez" Trachtman, Shahar "flameZ" Shushan, and more. But despite the loss olofmeister put up a decent performance as he held a K/D ratio of 0.76 with a 56% headshot accuracy, 1 MVP to his name, and a triple kill.

This might not seem too impressive but considering that he had been away from the game for almost half a year and was playing along with other pros as well, it does not seem all that bad. That said it seems the player is really out of touch with the game and it will definitely take him some time to once again find his rhythm.

All of this could point towards olofmeister starting his preparation for an eventual comeback into competitive Counter-Strike once again. A few users were off the opinion that maybe he would be moving back to FaZe Clan’s active lineup once Nikola “NiKo” Kovac was transferred over to G2 Esports.

But all said and done these are just speculations and this could very well just have been a casual game for the old timer, who has not given any hints or suggestions from his side that would point towards a comeback.
