The second group stage of ESL Pro League Season 11 - Europe which kicked off yesterday witnessed Na’Vi make a comeback against Astralis to defeat them in their opening match by a score of ‘2-1’. Interestingly it was also Egor “flamie” Vasilev’s birthday yesterday and according to Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev, Na’Vi have not lost a single match on flamie’s birthday in the last four years.
No matter who Na’Vi faces on this day, the opponents stand no chance of attaining victory against them. Unfortunately, Astralis was on the receiving end it this time around, who despite crushing the Ukrainian organization in the first map on Inferno were unable to sail their ship through to the harbour safely.

Na'Vi has not lost a single match on or around flamie's birthday
According to the data collected from HLTV, while Na’Vi has not always played on flamie’s birthday (5th April) in the last four years, they have certainly won the games that they played a day before or after his birthday.
After a shaky start, Na’Vi has managed to find its rhythm, leading their group in the first phase of the league and now enjoying victory straight off the bat once again. Let’s see if the boys in yellow can see themselves through to the playoffs or not.
