BnTeT along with Gen.G wins their First LAN Tournament in Anaheim

The second DreamHack Open tournament of 2020 came to an end yesterday with Gen.G Esports going undefeated to stand victorious at DreamHack Open Anaheim 2020, claiming the $50,000 prize money while also booking themselves a slot in DreamHack Masters Jonkoping.

Spearheading their efforts to lift the trophy in Anaheim was their new recruit from Asia, Hansel “BnTeT” Ferdinand who won his first proper international LAN tournament, consisting of multiple tier-one teams. The Indonesian was a force to reckon with as he held a K-D difference of +14 along with a rating of 1.08, he was the 11^th best player overall in the tournament.

Playing his first international LAN tournament along with his new squad, he did not hold exceptionally high figures but had an immense impact on multiple maps, clutching for his side in more than one situation.

After playing for multiple Asian teams including one of the best teams from the region TYLOO, BnTeT had made his name as the best rifler from the region but a victory at an international tournament eluded him, until today.

It might have taken BnTeT close to 7 years to win his first international tournament, but this looks like just the beginning for the 24-year-old beast from the east. Despite going undefeated all the matches were a close affair for Gen.G Esports, who still need to put in the hours if they want to compete against the top teams at Jonkoping.
