Recently while playing against Astralis at the BLAST Premier: Spring 2020 Regular Season a viewer was able to get a screenshot during the stream showing Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev’s screen which showed his total playtime in CS:GO.
According to the photo the Ukrainian star has spent a whopping 16,122 hours playing CS:GO. S1mple is known to practise hard and long, he has even openly admitted to never stopping the grind and is known to practise even during player breaks in a bid to not go rusty.
This might indeed be the reason behind the player’s success who was the second-best player of 2019 as per HLTV, surpassed by the French prodigy Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut who he himself considers to be quite skilled.
He along with Na’Vi has started off the year well, finishing as the runners up of ICE Challenge 2020 while also defeating Astralis in the regular season of BLAST Premier: Spring 2020, where s1mple and electronic carried the boys in yellow across the finish line.
