Mousesports who defeated Na’Vi yesterday in the finals of ICE Challenge 2020 by a ‘3-1’ scoreline, had its captain Finn “karrigan” Andersen quite emotional after their victory. The 29-year-old IGL took to Twitter to talk about how little confidence he had in his “abilities as a caller” during the FACEIT Major and how it was a “completely different story with mouz” this time around.

Dropping just two games on its way to holding the trophy on the centre stage, mousesports were unstoppable, winning $125,000 in their first tournament of 2020. David “frozen” Cernansky was the best performer from mouz and the second-best overall, achieving a rating of 1.24 across 11 maps.

Karrigan himself was quite impressive, commanding his team out of many clutch situations and doing an overall fabulous job of calling out plays and executes. His personal gameplay might have taken a bit of a hit but with youngsters like frozen and Robin “ropz” Kool on his side, the captain can blindly trust in them to do justice to his plans.

Starting off with a victory, mousesports are on a good track going ahead into 2020. Let’s see if they can keep up this form when competing against better teams in bigger tournaments.
