It looks like Ladislav “GuardiaN” Kovacs is taking a break from CS:GO until the next Major. The CS:GO legend who was recently benched by Na’Vi was heard saying this in one of his recent streams.

He went on to reveal that he would be streaming a bit in the interim, not giving a definitive answer about what he would be doing after ESL One: Rio 2020, all he said about his future was that “after the Major, I will see.”

The 28-year-old had returned to Na’Vi after a period of two years, soon after Danylo “Zeus” Teslenko’s retirement. His arrival had forced Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev to pass the AWP onto GuardiaN, who could sadly not do justice to the role.

As Na’Vi continued to struggle through 2019, the fans and community started to doubt GuardiaN’s abilities, forcing Na’Vi to bench the player and change its lineup in a bid to improve.

Since then Na’Vi has picked up Ilya “Perfecto” Zalutskiy from Syman Gaming while handing the AWP back to s1mple. Currently playing in their first tournament of 2020, the Ukranian organization has managed to reach the finals of ICE Challenge 2020.
