The Danish Counter-Strike organization North has undergone a complete overhaul, revealing their new identity across various social media platforms alongside a blog on their website. Not only did they undergo a rebranding but also restructured their management, hiring people for certain ‘crucial positions’.
This clears up all the doubts that people had about North wiping off everything from its Twitter account, including all their past tweets and profile picture.
Back in October 2019, North had appointed Graham “messioso” Pitt as their Head of Esport Operations, replacing Jonas “whimp” Svendsen. The effect of that change in management is now resulting in a new phase for North.
Under this restructuring, the Danish organization has added Christian Engell as their performance coach. He is a well known and highly experienced sports coach who has worked with famous Danish players like Kasper Schmeichel and William Kvist.
They also announced the re-signing of Markus “Kjaerbye” Kjaerbye to their roster. The player himself had a few words to say,
“I am happy to have re-signed my contract with North. North came to me with an ambitious new plan for both the team and the organisation. The people in the organisation behind us are determined to succeed. All in all, this feels like the perfect home for me.”
They further state their mission will be to entertain and enthuse the fans in Scandinavia and everyone else across the globe. Finally speaking about their new logo and the overall transformation. They conclude by saying that a variety of exciting news will be coming out shortly from their side. Till then let’s see how the team performs in 2020.
