Everyone was shocked when ENCE had announced that Aleksi “Aleksib” Virolainen would be replaced by Miikka “suNny” Kemppi after the StarLadder Berlin Major 2019 which took place in September. At the time Aleksib kept his calm but now three months down the line, the player is a part of OG CS:GO as he prepares to lead the team into their first-ever tournament appearance, in the upcoming CS_Summit 5.

But before heading off to practise Aleksib in a recent interview with a Finnish website called Digitoday, talked about his time since departing ENCE. He went on to say that August went by with him focusing on a new team, so there is nothing much to say about it except for, “I've now got myself a new team which is now a part of my career, so I want to leave it all behind. But let's just say this now, that I was not happy with everything at ENCE.”

Earlier, before Aleksib had left ENCE, in an interview with HLTV, Jani “Aerial” Jussila had spoken about things that had caught Aleksib by surprise. But he went on to clarify that everything between them is settled and that there is no bad blood between the two.

“I imagined their questions were posed and asked many times so that the answers sounded like what they were in the end”, Aleksib said while laughing.

Virolainen added that if he was in a similar situation, he would not have made similar comments about his current or former teammates.

Talking a bit about how ENCE has been doing recently, the rifler thinks that the team has not yet been able to show off their skills well enough, maybe due to lack of practice in September and October.

“Over time, we'll see what they can do. Yes, they should play at number one [tier1] as long as the outside factors mentioned in the interviews, such as mental locks, are addressed.”
