Oleksandr ‘s1mple’ Kostyliev’s Twitch account has been banned from once again just a few months after an initial ban which occurred on 13th August.
S1mple’s Twitch account seems to have been removed from the streaming platform since yesterday, i.e. 28th November, due to unknown reasons. Neither Twitch nor Natus Vincere has issued any statement on the matter, leaving the reason undisclosed as of now.
Update: A recent Tweet by s1mple has revealed that the second ban from Twitch might have a similar intention behind it like the first. Once again he has been caught tossing a word which might have been outside of Twitch's guidelines. He has expressed his grief over Twitch taking the usage of certain words out of context, calling the platform 'terrible' while appealing to them that his 'Twitch Partnership' be removed.
S1mple has not spoken about anything related to the removal of his account yet, which has garnered just under a million followers. Quite an active and avid streamer, s1mple’s stream are both fun and engaging, but the streamer sometimes loses himself in the flow of the moment and ends up breaking a few of the platform rules and guidelines.
The last time his account faced such a problem was a few months back in August when he had tossed a homophobic slur (pidor) towards Kirill “Boombl4“ Mikhailov as a joke.
Last time around s1mple had disclosed the reason behind his Twitch ban via his Twitter account, but this time the reason seems to be shrouded in mystery.
He was last seen active on Twitch on 19th November, following which his he had gone cold turkey from streaming until the ban being imposed yesterday. Usually, the duration of these bans can range from a day to a week, or in some cases they can be permanent as well. What do you guys think might be the reason behind this ban?
