eXTREMESLAND has gone on to announce the details about the Middle-East Qualifier on their Facebook page for the ZOWIE eXTREMESLAND CS:GO Asia Open 2019. With seven countries from that region getting their own qualifier, the tournament has surely expanded its reach within Asia a lot more than last year.
This time around a total of 8 teams will be fighting it out in the Middle-East regional finals. While seven teams will be making their way to the regional finals by standing victorious in their respective qualifiers, NASR Esports will be directly making their way to the finals.

The regional finals will be taking place from 27th-28th September at Exile Gaming in Dubai, UAE.
The registration for each region has already begun and as a bonus, every region except for Pakistan and Jordan will have a national LAN qualifier, the other two countries will be hosting the regular online qualifier.

The registration dates are from 20th-29th August. And the national qualifier dates are as follows,

Middle-East National Qualifiers
The Pakistan and Jordan national online qualifiers will feature a best-of-one, single-elimination bracket till the quarterfinals, following which the format will change to a double-elimination bracket ending with a best-of-three final. The winning team will go on to represent their respective countries in the Middle-East regional finals.
The national LAN qualifiers taking place in the other countries will be featuring a best-of-three, single-elimination bracket, with the winning team making its way through to the Middle-East regional finals.
Middle-East Regional Qualifiers
The eight participating teams will be divided into two groups of four teams each. Both these groups will be following a GSL format consisting of a total of five best-of-one matches per group. The top two teams from each group will make its way onto the playoffs.
The playoffs will be following a best-of-three format with the winners and runner-ups representing the Middle-East region in this season of ZOWIE eXTREMESLAND CS:GO Asia Open 2019.
Unlike last time eXTREMESLAND seems to be taking a more disciplined approach when it comes to the Middle-East region this time around. Let’s see if NASR Esports are able to make their way through to Shanghai once again?
