5. Olof Kajbjer (olofmeister)

Olofmeister is one of the most versatile players to have ever played Counter-Strike professionally, he can rock any match with any weapon and role. He rose to his high status after signing with Fnatic in the summer of 2014. Even though he’s extremely versatile, he’s not that consistent, but he excels in perfect moments in matches and tournaments to ensure his team’s success.

After a long and successful career with Fnatic, he moved to FaZe in 2017 and is currently inactive on the bench.

4. Richard Papillion (shox)

Shox took the world by storm with his initial performances. After outright winning Dreamhack Winter 2014 with LDLC, he signed up with EnvyUs and later moved to G2. He was one of the top players for the original CS: Source game.

The only issue in Frenchman’s career has been a stable team, forced to shift continuously. He eventually ended up at Vitality alongside apex and ZywOo, which looked to be promising for shox, but it faded away towards the end of his stint with them. He also played for Liquid and Apeks, but it wasn’t successful for the Frenchman.

3. Nicolai Reedtz (dev1ce)

If we look at stastics, dev1ce is one of the best players of all time with the amount of achievements he has. With four Major titles and 14 MVP awards, he knows how to rise to the occasion and take everything under control.

De1vce was part of Counter-Strike’s most famed roster at Astrails before making the move to NiP. You can argue that he’s not a technically gifted player, but what makes dev1ce one of the best is their ability to make those around him perform at their peak level, evidenced by the number of majors he has. In 2022, dev1ce made a return to Astrailis after an unsuccessful stint with NiP.

2. Christopher Alesund (GeT_RiGhT)

Not only is GeT_RiGhT one of the best Counter-Strike players of all time, but he’s also one of the all-time CS legends. One of the older players in the community, at the age of 29, GeT_RiGhT hasn’t let that stop him from creating records and leaving his mark on the game’s story.

He holds the long-standing record of the most consecutive wins in Counter-Strike, with an unbroken streak of 87, which was set in the early days of the game when he played for Ninjas in Pajamas. Although he hasn’t been performing well in recent years, he’s an undisputed king of Counter-Strike with 20 International Tiles and dozens of Top 8 placements.

1.Oleksandr Kostyliev (s1mple)

Let’s be real; you can’t talk about competitive Counter-Strike without mentioning s1mple; he’s simply a prodigy and stands as the best player the game has ever seen. His sheer skill and talent have helped him reach another level.

As of 2023, s1mple has collected 21 HLTV MVP medals, more than any other CS player. He has also won two Majors, two Intel Grand Slams, and multiple other tournaments. This legend shows no signs of slowing down.
