One of the biggest organizations in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang esports, EVOS Esports may be looking to acquire Nexplay Esports’ MLBB roster, according to a report from Tiebreaker Times. The cross-regional partnership isn’t exactly new for EVOS Esports as it currently holds three Mobile Legends teams in various SEA countries including Malaysia (Suhaz EVOS), Singapore (EVOS SG), and Indonesia (EVOS Legends). EVOS Esports previously ventured into the MLBB esports scene in the Philippines during seasons three and four but failed to make a mark and eventually disbanded. This news has emerged after recent reports indicating that MPL PH is planning on shifting into a franchising model for the upcoming season eight.

EVOS Esports Planning to Acquire Nexplay Esports’ MLBB Roster

According to a report from Tiebreaker Times, Indonesia-based esports organization EVOS Esports is reportedly in negotiations to acquire Nexplay Esports MLBB roster. If this negotiation comes to fruition in the future, EVOS Esports will have a wide array of potential pro players to add to their roster for MPL PH Season 8 such as John Paul “H2Wo” Salonga, Renejay “Renejay” Barcarse, and Tristan “Yawi” Cabrera, Dexter “Exort” Martinez, James “Jeymz” Gloria and Lance “LanceCy” Cunanan.

This isn’t the first time EVOS Esports tried to make its mark in the Filipino Mobile Legends esports scene. During MPL PH Season 3, the organization acquired the roster of SXC Imbalance which comprised of veteran pro players like Salic “Hadjizy” Imam, Reniel “HONDA BEAST” Encisa, Archi “KILLER” Valencia, Dexter “DEX STAR” Alaba, and Kristoffer “BON CHAN” Ricaplaza. However, the team's existence was short-lived after the organization decided to release its MLBB team roster in the Philippines after a disappointing performance in the MPL PH Season 4. Ultimately, the team roster transferred to Tier One Entertainment's Blacklist International, where they found greater success and won the championship title in the MPL PH Season 7.

EVOS Esports currently holds three Mobile Legends teams namely; EVOS Legends in Indonesia, EVOS SG in Singapore, and Suhaz EVOS in Malaysia. The Indonesian team secured the championship title in the MPL ID Season 7, while the Singaporean team acquired the championship title for MPL SG Season 1.

Nexplay Esports and EVOS Esports are yet to make any official statements regarding this matter. Fans will have to keep their eyes peeled for future updates from both organizations.
