Riot Games have released a League of Legends: Wild Rift Patch 2.3 hotfix, shortly after the release of the two new champions Irelia and Riven due to some game-breaking bugs. As a result of these bugs, Irelia and Riven were stronger than what the developers intended them to be, which meant that the two champions were quite broken and overpowered. There is also now a fix for Kha'Zix's 'Taste of Fear' skill evolution bug, where he would take damage after it evolved. Additionally, with the Wild Rift Patch 2.3 Hotfix, the developer has added 120 FPS support for a few phones and corrected a few minor visual bugs. Below you'll find more information about the Hotfix that was released for Wild Rift Patch 2.3.

Wild Rift Patch 2.3 Hotfix Details

Irelia

Wild Rift Patch 2.3 Hotfix Releases With Changes to Irelia, Riven and Kha'Zix
Irelia gets a bug fix for her 3rd skill. Her third skill had a bug that allows it to be re-casted at a much faster pace, making her even more agile than she already is. As a result, players took advantage of this mobility to gain a competitive advantage in every match. The developers fixed the issue in the Wild Rift Patch 2.3 hotfix, so the game should now work as intended.

3rd Skill: Flawless Duet

  •  Fixed a bug where Irelia could re-cast Flawless Duet faster than intended

Riven

Wild Rift Patch 2.3 Hotfix Releases With Changes to Irelia, Riven and Kha'Zix
Riven gets a bug fix for her 1st skill. As with Irelia, Riven also experienced a bug whereby she recast her first skill  Broken Wings more times than what was intended when used alongside Protobelt Enchant and Flash summoner spell. This allowed her to chase down targets or dodge skill shots easily. With the hotfix, Riven’s Broken Wings can only be cast three times before going on cooldown.

1st Skill: Broken Wings

  • Fixed a bug where Riven could cast more instances of Broken Wings than intended in conjunction with Protobelt and Flash

Kha’Zix

Wild Rift Patch 2.3 Hotfix Releases With Changes to Irelia, Riven and Kha'Zix
Kha'Zix no longer takes damage when upgrader his 1st skill.Whenever Kha'Zix upgrades Taste Their Fear after evolving it, he is affected by this bug which inflicts a minor amount of self-damage. Although the damage is quite negligible, it puts Kha’Zix in a bad situation if he tries to upgrade his skill during combat. The devs have applied a fix for this so players can safely upgrade without worrying about losing their HP.

1st Skill: Taste Their Fear

  • Fixed a bug where Kha’Zix would damage himself when upgrading Taste Their Fear after evolving it

Other Minor Bugs and Additional Features

AI Bots have been spotted in normal PVP matches in recent days. This bug was quickly discovered by the developers and a fix was added to the Wild Rift Patch 2.3 hotfix. Also, the surrender UI bug has been fixed, and should now work as intended.

  • Fixed a bug where the Surrender UI would not disappear after all votes had been cast
  • Quelled the robot uprising where Co-op vs AI bots was invading normal games
  • Lenovo Legion Pro 2 now supports 120 FPS

The 120 FPS option will only work on supported mobile devices such as Asus ROG Phones, and Lenovo Legion Phones. This feature is still a work in progress so the devs will likely be adding more devices in the future.
