The debut edition of the Free Fire Pro League Summer (FFPL) 2021 is just around the corner with registration for the FFC Mode currently ongoing. The tournament which is a part of the Indian Free Fire 2021 competitive circuit has kick-started the Summer season, featuring a prize pool of INR 35,00,000 ($47,842 approx.) along with 12 directly invited teams from Free Fire India Championship (FFIC) 2021 Spring that had taken place earlier this year. Apart from this, 6 more teams will be making their way into the tournament through the open qualifiers, also known as FFC Mode.

How to Register for FFC Mode

There are 6 slots available for teams that can successfully make their way through the open qualifiers of FFPL 2021, officially called FFC Mode. The registration for FFC Mode are currently live, having started yesterday on June 1 and coming to an end on June 4 at 20:00 (IST). 

The FFC Mode itself is scheduled to take place on the last day of registration on June 4 from 16:00 to 20:00  (IST). It is not too late to register yourself and interested players can follow the steps mentioned below to register themselves.

  • First, open Free Fire and then within the game lobby tap on the red coloured icon cup present on the top-right corner of the screen.

  • There are certain pre-requisites that a participating team needs to satisfy in order to register for the FFC Mode. If in case, these requirements are fulfilled then upon clicking the Free Fire Pro League link, players will be able to register themselves while also getting information related to the tournament.

  • To register simply click on the FFPL Banner and then click on ‘Squad’ from the options provided on the left. Players can then click on either ‘Create’ or ‘Join’ depending on their requirement.

  • If you want to make a team click on ‘Create’ and then fill in all the necessary information. Otherwise, you can click on ‘Join’ and browse through the list provided, sending a request to any squad that you would like to join.

FFC Mode - Important Details

Here are a few important things that all players participating or playing in the FFC Mode should be aware of.

  • The participating teams will be provided a total of 8 tickets to use for matchmaking during the course of the FFC Mode. These matches will be taking place on June 4 from 16:00 to 20:00, all unused tickets will be void after this duration.

  • The teams competing in the FFC Mode, their top five scores from the eight matches will be taken into consideration when determining the final ranking of the qualifying teams.

  • Some important pre-requisites that need to be fulfilled when registering for the FFC Mode are minimum rank Diamond 1, at least Level 40, Rank Point of 2538 through the duration of the open qualifiers.

  • If a team wants to change their roster they would need to disband first, but if a team has already used a ticket then they will not be allowed to disband.

FFPL 2021 - Invited Teams, Format, Schedule

As per the structure of the Indian Free Fire 2021 competitive circuit, the top twelve teams from Free Fire India Championship (FFIC) 2021 Spring directly make their way to this tournament. So the teams that will be directly making their way to this tournament are,

  • Galaxy Racer
  • Team Elite
  • Sixth Sense
  • Last Breath
  • S8UL (Earlier called Nemesis)
  • Captains
  • Team D Esports
  • LVL - Iconic
  • Survivor 4 AM
  • Ankush Free Fire Esports
  • Total Gaming
  • Red Owl Gaming (Earlier called Team Chaos)

These 12 teams will be further joined by 6 more teams making their way through the FFC Mode. Together these 18 teams will go up against each from 26 June to 11 July, split into 3 groups of 6 teams each with the grand finals set to take place on 18 July.

Out of the 18 teams competing at the tournament 12 teams will move on to the grand finals. From these 12 teams, the top 6 will directly qualify for the Free Fire India Championship (FFIC) 2021 Fall main event, while the remaining 6 will make it to the closed qualifiers of the same event.
