Krafton, the developers behind the first major hit mobile Battle Royale game PUBG Mobile, recently confirmed that their upcoming new game PUBG: New State will be having its alpha test sometime in the second quarter of 2021. However, the exact release date is yet to be revealed, and the alpha test will only be available for a selected number of regions. The hype is undoubtedly high for the game as it has recently crossed 10 million pre-registrations on the Google Play Store. Android users can still pre-register and receive a permanent vehicle skin when the mobile game gets officially released in public.

The official social media handles of Krafton’s latest mobile game “PUBG: New State'' revealed that the game’s alpha test phase would commence sometime within the second quarter of 2021. However, the alpha test of the game will only be available for a selected number of regions.
The hype surrounding the new mobile game has definitely bolstered its popularity as it reached more than 5 million pre-registration on its first week of being added to the Play Store. The game is currently sitting on around 10 million pre-registrations in the Google Play Store, a massive spike for a newly released game. However, pre-registration for iOS users will have to wait as it is yet to be available in the Apps Store.

What is PUBG: New State?
PUBG: New State is set in 2051, where players will be fighting in a new battleground called TROI. The map is reported to be 8x8 kilometers, the same size as the Erangel map in PUBG Mobile. The game features a semi-futuristic world with advanced arsenals such as ballistic shields, drones, weapon customizations, and more.
