Riot Game’s rising mobile MOBA game, League of Legends: Wild Rift will be featured at the upcoming 31st SEA Games Hanoi 2021. According to a post from Wild Rift esports project manager, Ban - ChisinX, the upcoming 31st SEA Games Hanoi 2021 will feature Wild Rift and will have two medals on the line, one for the Male category and one for the female. Mobile esports titles also featured in the 31st SEA Games Hanoi 2021 are PUBG Mobile, Free Fire, and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. The 31st SEA Games Hanoi 2021 is scheduled to commence at the end of 2021 and will feature 40 subjects in the official competition program.

Wild Rift to be Featured at the 31st SEA Games Hanoi 2021
Wild Rift esports project manager, Ban - ChisinX, posted an announcement that Wild Rift will be featured in the upcoming 31st SEA Games Hanoi 2021.
According to GameK.vn, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism and also Head of the 31st SEA Games and the 11th ASEAN Para Games, Nguyen Ngoc Thien, has signed a decision on promulgating the list of sports at the 31st SEA Games held in Vietnam. The 31st SEA Games will be held at the end of 2021 and will have a total of 40 subjects in the official competition program
Included in that list are esports titles such as;
Mobile Esports
- Arena of Valor (Team)
- PUBG Mobile (Individual)
- Free Fire (Team)
- Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (Team)
- League of Legends Wild Rift (Team)
PC Esports
- League of Legends PC (Team)
- FIFA Online 4 (Team)
- Crossfire (Team)
According to the news website, all esports titles are team-based with the exception of PUBG Mobile which is individual. In addition to this, Wild Rift will have two medal categories in the 31st SEA Games, the Male and Female category.
