With a scintillating 4-3 victory in the Grand Finals against Burmese Ghouls, Bren Esports have won the M2 World Championship 2021. This is the team’s biggest win yet, perhaps even overshadowing their The Nationals Season 2 victory last year. The Filipino team walks away with $140,000 USD in prize money along with its very own skin with the team’s branding on a hero of its choice.

Game 1
Bren Esports grabbed the first win of the match as they dominated the map and took control of everything even the enemy side jungle. Burmese Ghouls tried to stall until they could get back on their feet, but the execution was off, and it punished them hard. Around 18 minutes into the game, Bren took control of the map and got the enemy shackled inside their base. Ace and MayBe tried to defend their last line of defense, but it proved to be futile. Bren Esports Marched to victory in the first match of the Grand Finals.
Game 2
The early game in Game 2 wasn’t too good for the Burmese Ghouls. Five minutes into the match, Bren managed to secure six kills from the enemy giving them the early game advantage. KarlTzy proved he doesn’t need Lancelot to win trades. Burmese Ghouls is sitting duck with only one kill within 7 minutes of the game. Burmese Ghouls played too passively and got punished heavily for it. Eventually, Bren placed the last nail of the coffin and secured the second win.
Game 3
Burmese Ghouls dominated the early game and even secured the Turtle, which they couldn’t do during the first two matches. They do overcommit at times, which gave away a few kills to Bren, but they still kept a solid posture through the early game. After 10 minutes, Burmese Ghouls secured their first Lord and immediately engaged in a team fight and got four takedowns and no casualties leaving Ribo as the sole survivor heading back to base as Burmese Ghouls got rid of all their turrets. Bren tried to defend their base, but with no turrets, they got taken down quickly while Burmese Ghouls snatched their first win in the match.
Game 4
Bren may have dominated over 21 total kills in the first half of the match, but Burmese Ghouls managed to secure the Lord and get rid of their opponents’ turrets in quick succession, which left Bren with only the 3 turrets inside their base. Fourteen minutes into the game, following the Lord’s assault, Burmese Ghouls took down the rest of Bren’s turrets, leaving them very open for an all-out attack. Burmese Ghouls managed to pull a comeback with how bad their early game was and earned their second win before the 19-minute mark.
Game 5
At the early match, KID seems to gets mispositioned most of the time and gets punished by Bren. However, KID makes a nice comeback with his accurate Selena skill shots allowing Burmese Ghouls to get takedowns from Bren and even the tides. At the 12-minute mark, a fight emerges after Burmese Ghouls secured the Lord on their side. Burmese Ghouls dominated the late game, completely cleaned Bren’s base from turrets, and secured their fourth win.
Game 6
The teams’ back and forth duel continued as Bren tried to secure objectives while Burmese Ghouls tried to disrupt their plans. Bren snowballed hard and secured the Lord, which allowed them to push mid lane up to the inner turret. Thanks to Lusty’s impressive engages, they managed to takedown Burmese Ghouls in a team fight and finally closed the game, giving them the third win.
Game 7
KarlTzy dominated the whole match as he leads the charge. Burmese Ghouls tried to bait Bren but failed to execute their plans. The final battle happened when Burmese Ghouls’ mid turret got destroyed, and a team fight emerged. Bren took 4 takedowns with KID as the only one left to defend which secured the Filipino team’s win.
While Bren Esports was crowned as the Champions of the M2 World Championship 2021, Burmese Ghouls can hold their heads high. They put up one of the greatest shows in MLBB esports history and took the fight to the Filipinos till the very end. They finish as the valiant runner ups.
