The PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2020 is at its climax. PUBG Mobile is expected to reveal a new map for the game on Jan. 23rd. This map will likely be the Karakin map, which is already available in the game’s PC counterpart.
PUBG Mobile New Map
The official Instagram of PUBG Mobile Malaysia posted the upcoming PMGC Finals’ full schedule, held in Dubai from Jan. 21 until 24, 2021.
The schedule revealed that PUBG Mobile would unveil the new map on Jan. 23. There hasn’t been any official announcement regarding the upcoming new map for the game. Fans and popular PUBG Mobile influencers have speculated that this might be the Karakin map that players have been eagerly waiting to be released.
Currently, PUBG Mobile has five battle royale maps: Erangel, Miramar, Sanhok, Vikendi, and Livik. Karakin might be next in line as it is one of the smallest maps in the PC counterpart, which is perfect for a fast-paced match that the mobile version offers.
What is Karakin Map
Karakin map is a two-by-two kilometer map in PUBG PC and is half the size of Sanhok. Unlike the usual 100 players per match, the map only allows a total of 64 players per game. This map was released in the PC version in Feb. 2020.
The map offers new features such as Smuggle Tunnels, Sticky Bombs, Dark Zone/Purple Zones, and more, which will make the match more exciting and full of surprises.
