In an announcement made earlier today, PUBG Mobile revealed plans for version 1.0 of the game, which will take the game to the next stage and pave the way for the future of PUBG Mobile. This announcement, dubbed as the New Era reveal was a trailer which showed some of the changes that players can expect during the 1.0 release. New tech will be implemented in the game along with an overhaul to the graphics to make it look even better. A new user interface will also be launched in version 1.0 to help improve user experience. The announcement video also spoke of a mystery surprise which will be revealed at a later date.

New Technology
The new technology that will be introduced into the game will see improvements to character and models such as:
- Physically based rendering
- Image-based lighting
- Spotlight Projection
Additionally improvements to to both environment and in-game graphics will be implemented. Particles, smokes, air blasts, muzzle flashes and scopes will also get an overhaul. Parachuting and other actions which have been known to throw up frequent issues will also be polished. In terms of the environment, shading quality and and light transmission effect will be worked upon. This will help with aesthetic elements such as reflections in water and indirect lighting from the sun. Overall, players will be able to get a better experience in terms of the look and feel of the game.
New User Experience
The new main menu screen will be more interactive with features such as new UI, interactive lobby and improved system animations. The main screen will be divided into three key parts to help players navigate easily and find what they are looking for. One of the game's problems is definitely the fact that there is a considerable amount of clutter on the home screen. The three parts will be:

- Game
- Store
The multi screen feature will allow users to switch quickly between various aspects of the game and find the different section quickly.
