  • Orange Rock take the lead at the end of day 2 of the final week at PMPL South Asia.
  • The battle to be in the top 16 also remains close and no one will want to be eliminated and not make it to the final stage.

A cracking start by Orange Rock saw the team pick up back-to-back chicken dinners to start off day 2 of the final week. This makes it 3 chicken dinners in a row for the team who ended day 1 with a win as well. This allowed the team to regain the top spot from TSM-Entity, who also clawed back with their own win in the third match of the day. TSM themselves have played 2 less games than OR and are behind 35 points.

Meanwhile, the ever consistent SynerGE continued to impress with one win and 3 top 3 finishes, allowing them to finally enter the coveted top 3. The team have a 48 point lead ahead of 4th placed Godlike, who do have 4 games in hand. However, the times have been tough for the team who were leading at the end of week 1 and they are in the midst of a very dry patch. With only 2 days remaining, the team has to dig deep and find the same form that saw them dominate the opening week. SynerGE will be out of action on the final day. Both SynerGE and Godlike are the prime candidates for the 3rd place which will determine which team joins TSM-Entity and OR in the World League.

In the bottom half of the table, the bottom 4 teams are battling elimination as only the top 16 move on to the finals stage. DEADEYES GUY with the maximum number of games and the minimum number of points are in bottom place. Team HYPE, Team Tamilas, Elementrix and Jyanmaara are in danger of being eliminated, but the last 2 days will determine the final standings.

With only 2 more days and just 10 more matches remaining, the battle for the top 3 and the top 16 has begun to get heated.
