  • Week 2 of PMPL South Asia comes to a close.
  • TSM-Entity won week 2 and are second on the overall table.
  • Orange Rock are still number 1 on the table.

TSM-Entity sent a strong message to those who have been doubting them as a magnificent day 4 performance on day 4 saw the team win week 2 of the league stage at PMPL South Asia. Meanwhile, Orange Rock continue to lead the table, but find their lead slashed to just 22 points and TSM-Entity right on their tails. In other news, Soul finally managed to enter the top 10 after enduring a rough spree in the league stage.

An absolute masterclass by TSM-Entity on the final day saw the team with 1 chicken dinner, 3 top 3 finishes and 51 kills in just 5 matches. The return of Neyoo to the squad seems to have worked wonders as they looked very different than the side who have been off form in the last few days. A 19 kill second place finish on Erangel thanks to a Zgod 1v4 against OR sees the team tie their own record as the highest number of kills in a single match. The first one came in the opening game of the league where they won a chicken dinner as well. The team’s tally of 241 points in week 2 sees them crowned as the champions of the week and allows them to overtake Godlike and secure the 2nd place.

Orange Rock had a bit of a slow day which saw them given up quite a bit of their lead. Nonetheless, they continue to stay on top and are the only team with 200 point hauls in successive weeks. Them along with TSM-Entity and Godlike have separated themselves from the pack and are the likeliest to grab the 3 confirmed spots to the World League.

A struggling Soul finally gave their fans something to cheer about as they won a chicken dinner after a long time, allowing the team to climb to the ninth position on the table. Meanwhile, Fnatic had a disappointing end to the week, after a strong opening 2 days failing to capitalize on their earlier momentum after the break. Megastars, also impressed in week 2 with 224 points and have climbed to the 4th spot on the table closely followed by SynerGE. Mega’s Vexe continues to lead the kill table with 56 frags, but TSM-Entity’s Jonathan and Zgod are both hot on his heels.
