  • Yoodo Gank and RRQ Athena continue to lead the table at the PMPL SEA Finals.
  • Day 2 saw Bigetron slip to 6th place with only 5 matches remaining on the final day.

Day 2 of the PMPL SEA Finals saw Yoodo Gank take a sizable lead at the top of the table thanks to their consistency. The team have absolutely crushed it at the competition and sit in first place with a comfortable 24 point lead over second placed RRQ Athena. With only 5 matches left to be played out on the final day, Yoodo Gank have to just stay in the top 2 to advance to the World League.

Meanwhile, world champion’s Bigetron Esports has had a relatively tough outing in the opening two days and have failed to win a single game. This performance is surprising to see from BTR as they are know to be one of the best teams in the world. With only one top 3 finish in the 2 days, BTR are in 6th place on the table. However, their place at the World League is already secured as the team are the Indonesian champions.

RRQ Athena, held onto the second place, however the gap at the top has increased. The team needs to finish in the top two to have a shot at the World League. While 24 points separate them from the top spot, they themselves have a 31 point cushion from the third placed team. They added one more chicken dinner to their tally on day 2 as well. Yoodo Gank too added one more chicken dinner to their name and have finished in the top 4 six times out of ten matches.

The final day will decide the fate of the teams at the PMPL SEA Finals and only 5 games remain as we look to find out which team walks away as the champions of SEA. Stay tuned for all the information and coverage from the event!
