  • A player accidentally discovered that Valorant work on a tablet.
  • Icons which correspond to a potential mobile version have also been found in the game files.

A reddit user u/Spacixr posted screenshots of Valorant’s mobile/tablet version after accidentally discovering that the game does indeed run on a tablet. The happy accident occurred after the player used his laptop to run the game, which was on tablet mode. However, what’s really interesting is that the game worked on the tablet mode and the mobile controls were usable.

Icons intended for the mobile were found in the game files by a Twitter user

In addition, other users have also found icons relating to the mobile version of the game in the game files. The decision to have a mobile version of the game isn’t at all surprising as mobile titles like PUBG Mobile, Call of Duty: Mobile and Garena Free Fire have done extremely well. Riot have also announced a mobile version of their MOBA, League of Legends and it will be released with the name Wild Rift. However there is no official confirmation from Riot and one is not expected in the near future either as even the PC version is in it's beta phase.
