Call of Duty Mobile Gets Big Boost in India as Organizations Start Picking Up Rosters

A title which really blew onto the mobile platform was Call of Duty: Mobile but surprisingly there has been little movement in the esport side of things despite beliefs that the title is perfectly positioned to become a major player. More recently some leaks on the test server did confirm that there have been some developments and plans are being made to turn the title into a successful esport.

In India, a few well known organizations have started the movement already with announcements about rosters and teams cropping up over the last week or so. Scrims are also being organized and it seems as if this could be one of the key elements that could help the title really shine.

SynerGE, the mobile esports division of Global Esports were one of the first ones on the scene with a roster comprising of the following players:

Moonscape

Argon

Exo

Spidey

Superfan

Two Indian organizations known for their PUBG Mobile squads - Marcos Gaming and Team IND have also announced rosters. Reckoning Esports is another Indian organization who has been fielding a roster in CODM.

AestheticX Esports are considered to be the best team in the Asian Region at the moment and have been the team to beat for now. Information on professional Call of Duty: Mobile, teams and tournaments is limited at the moment as the community is scattered. Hopefully, with scrims, tournaments and organizations stepping in, the scene improves and ignites interest in CODM as an esport.
