The First week of both PMPL Indonesia and PMPL MYSG were played out with less than surprising results. World Champions, Bigetron RA got off to a strong start in PMPL Indonesia, bringing their A game in a closely contested affair. While they didn’t convert a lot of their games into wins, consistent kill points and high placements allowed the team to end the week at the top of the table.

Many thought that Bigetron would be able to cruise through in PMPL Indonesia, but it certainly doesn’t seem that way. A lot of teams from the region have been playing well and could easily surpass Bigetron if given a chance. Teams like BOOM Esports, Aerowolf LIMAX, RRQ Ryu, Morph and EVOS come to mind when the question arises of which Indonesian team stand a chance. All of these have been doing well in terms of consistency and placements but compared to Bigetron, lack a bit of firepower. However, with three whole weeks remaining, anything could happen so we’ll have to wait and watch how things go down.

In the MYSG League, Team Secret and Bapak Ah Esports pulled out ahead of the competition with some strong performances in the first week. On the other hand, teams from Singapore got off to poor start and will have to pull up their socks if they want to see their country represented in the next stage.
