Bigetron to Begin Their Title Defence as PMPL Indonesia Kicks off Tomorrow

Reigning world champions, Bigetron will kick off their title defence later this week as they start their journey at PMPL Indonesia. The campaign will be that much longer and harder this time around as Bigetron will have to not only play in PMPL Indonesia but then in PMWL East and finally the World Championship. 

Dates and Format

The 4 week long tournament will begin on the 6th of March and last up until the 29th. 24 teams have been split into 3 groups, 16 of whom will advance to the next stage. For the league stage, each group will place 12 matches per week (6 against each of the other groups). The winner of PMPL-ID will get a spot directly at PMWL East while the rest have to play in the Indonesia Finals and then the SEA Finals to make it there. The Indonesia finals will take place on the 4th and 5th of April and has a prize pool of 146K USD.

How To Watch

The League stage will be held in a Studio Setting in Jakarta and games can be viewed via the PUBG Mobile Indonesia official page. The livestream will only be on Facebook as per the the official post.
