Current world champions, Bigetron Esports were unable to go all the way in what is essentially their first major LAN appearance in 2020. The team now known as Bigetron RA were playing in the Dunia Games Pro League Finals, an Indonesian tournament with a prize pool of roughly 115K USD.

Matched up against 15 other Indonesian squads, Bigetron finished in 2nd place, 17 points shy of the top team, Morph. The result is indeed a hard one to digest as Bigetron are not only considered the best team in SEA, but in all of the world. The team only managed to get one chicken dinner in the 8 games, compared to Morph’s three and were definitely not the best team at the finals.

However, the large variance in BR games means that results will be a little up and down, even when big teams are playing. To be fair, a second place finish is definitely not a bad result under any circumstance but it shows that teams from all regions are stepping up their game. While Bigetron RA may have walked home to an easy victory at the PMCO Fall Championship, the competition is shaping up to be a lot closer this time around. The team will have to play in PMPL - Indonesia, then PMWL East and then in the PUBG Mobile World Championship if they are to defend their title as World Champions in the Spring Season of 2020.

Meanwhile, Morph featuring former Evos player Jeixy, should be happy with their performance, one upping the best team in the world. Their win nets them a respectable 14.3K USD. The team put in a splendid performance, with three chicken dinners in just eight games and will now look to challenge Bigetron once more at PMPL Indonesia.
