India based esports platform PorusPlay has announced an INR 39 lakh tournament aimed at developing PUBG Mobile both at the lower tiers and giving teams a chance to play on LAN for extended periods. The competition will involve 120 teams from across different tiers and will involve 4 months of play including one whole month dedicated to a LAN.
Along with opportunities for new teams and players, the tournaments also looks to provide a platform for casters and content creators but the scope of opportunity is yet to be mentioned. Currently, the announcement has very limited information available but we do know that Fnatic have confirmed that they will be playing in the tournament.
