The most competitive and stacked region, Thailand will kick off their Pro League campaign on the 14th of February with 24 strong teams in contention, to prove that they have what it takes to be the best. The Pro League will not only be a great competition in itself, but will also determine which teams qualify for the PUBG Mobile World League, which will take place later in May.

The Thai Pro League will be the first Pro League to kick off this season, with those for Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia+Singapore, South Asia and Americas set to begin in the coming months. Thailand is home to some of the strongest teams in the world and have some pretty big names both in terms of players and in terms of brands from the region.

The Thai Pro League will take place across 5 weekends, with the prize money increasing across each week. Additionally, the MVP for each week will also receive the same prize money as the winning team. The prize pool is nominal and mostly a token amount going up till 800 USD in week 5. At the end of 5 weeks, 16 of the 24 teams will move onto the PMPL Thailand Finals. What’s unique about the league stage however, is the fact that it too will be held offline at the True Digital Park in Bangkok, Thailand.

Games will be played on the weekends, ie Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The teams have been placed into 3 groups - A, B and C. AB will play on Fridays, BC on Saturdays and AC on Sundays. 5 maps will played out on each of the days. The list of teams is as follows:

Group A: RRQ Athena, Purple Mood Esport, Daytrade Gaming, Faze Clan, Attack All Around, King of Club, Power888 Esport, Orangewolf

Group B: MiTH, Golden Cat, Tokio Striker, ALPHA Esport, Armory Gaming, QC.20 Something, Team Secret, Futurerista Gaming

Group C; Illuminate the Murder, LYNX TH, Sharper Esport, Tack Esport, Pinto Gaming, Suphanburi Esport, Goldcity ahq, Pyramid Esports

PMPL Thailand will be one of the top PUBG Mobile events this year because of the quality of teams in it. There are some high expectations from the league and the level of PUBG Mobile in it is expected to be very high. With the first set of PMPL games kicking off tomorrow, we cannot be more excited to see what the future holds. The games will be exclusively streamed on Facebook and can be found on the official PUBG Mobile Thailand page.
