VCT: India and South Asia Will Compete For a Spot in Last Chance Qualifier

Valorant teams from India and South Asia now have a clear path to the Valorant Champions Tour (VCT). Riot Games has partnered with NODWIN Gaming* to host the Valorant Conquerors Championship (VCC) which will serve as a qualifying event for the VCT APAC Last Chance Qualifiers. For the South Asian leg, the teams will compete in multiple sub-regional qualifiers for a prize pool of INR 25 Lakhs ($33,000 USD). Registration for the Valorant Conquerors Championship will begin on June 15, 2021.
Valorant Conquerors Championship Structure and Format Explained
There will be six qualifiers for various countries within the South Asian region at the Valorant Conquerors Championship:
- India
- Pakistan & Afghanistan
- Sri Lanka & Maldives
- Bangladesh
- Nepal & Bhutan
- Wildcard
Each VCC qualifier will have a set number of registration slots. Participants will compete in online qualifiers and winners will progress to the playoffs. The winner of the playoffs will progress to the APAC Last Chance Qualifier of the VCT where they will face qualified teams from Southeast Asia, Korea, and Japan. The winner of this APAC Last Chance Qualifier will advance to the Valorant Champions Tour, the global final where the 2021 Champion will be crowned.

Valorant Conquerors Championship Prize Pool Revealed
The prize pool of the Valorant Conquerors Championship is INR 25 Lakhs ($33,000 USD).
Additionally, winners advance to the Valorant Champions Tour 2021: Asia Last Chance Qualifiers and will have the chance to qualify for the Champions tournament of the VCT, which is expected to feature a much larger prize pool.

VCT Structure Explained
Valorant Champions Tour is divided into three phases: Challengers, Masters, and Champions.
Challengers
The lowest level of competition is the challenger level, which is focused on regional competition. These tournaments will be run in collaboration with reputable tournament operators that have previously handled First Strike qualifiers and Ignition Series events.
Masters
The Masters will be much larger, international events and the most important seasonal tournaments. A total of three masters will be held during 2021, and they will feature some of the best players in their respective regions.
Champions
Last but not least, the best gamers and teams from all over the world will compete at Valorant Champions, the biggest event of the year, where the top 16 teams will face each other for the title of the first Valorant global champion.
VCT Last Chance Qualifiers
Teams will have one final opportunity to qualify for Champions after the third Masters event. Teams compete in North America, Europe, South America, and Asia-Pacific tournaments for a chance to qualify for the Champions tournament.
The importance of VCC and Riot Games' partnership with NODWIN Gaming
This is the first time that Riot Games has given South Asian Valorant teams an opportunity to compete in the global Valorant circuit. Prior to this, most tournaments in the region were organized by local tournament organizers.
