As part of PUBG Mobile’s 3rd Anniversary celebration, Tencent hosted a virtual concert featuring three of the most popular DJs such as Alesso, Lost Frequencies, and R3HAB. Along with the stunning performance of the DJs, a surprise announcement has been made which hyped up the fans even more. Adam Wingard, the director of the movie Godzilla vs Kong, announced a collaboration with PUBG Mobile to deliver exciting new content to the game themed around his latest monster film. PUBG Mobile x Godzilla vs Kong Collaboration Details
The big announcement was revealed when the director himself, Adan Wingard, announced the collaboration event during PUBG Mobile’s 3rd Anniversary Party Livestream. The director started by greeting PUBG Mobile with a happy birthday, followed by his reveal of the upcoming PUBG Mobile x Godzilla vs Kong collaboration event.
The event promises a brand new game mode which will give players a chance to go up against the two gigantic monsters, Godzilla and Kong. The release date for the collaboration event is yet to be announced. However, we can expect the event to go live at the end of March 2021 or the beginning of April 2021, coinciding with the film’s release.
The announcement also came with a short trailer with iconic characters from the mobile battle royale game going up against the two giant monsters in an epic and action-packed video.
PUBG Mobile Karakin Map Will Be Released on April 7
Along with the collaboration event’s announcement, PUBG Mobile also revealed that the Karakin Map would be released in the game on April 7, 2021. This will be the sixth classic battle royale map for PUBG Mobile and one of the game’s smallest maps.
The Karakin map first appeared on the PC version of the game on Jan 22, 2020. The map is a 2x2 kilometers map that will allow a total of 64 players to drop into the battlefield. Due to its relatively small size, the matches will be action-packed even at the early stages as players will fight for loots and will likely encounter each other more frequently.
