SEA Fire Championship 2020: Bren Esports Heads to Grand Finals

Bren Esports have sealed their spot in the grand finals and they will also be awarded a 1-0 lead for qualifying from the upper bracket. The team faced off against Team SHiFT and secured a 2-0 win at the upper bracket finals. Team SHiFT are still in contention, but they have to make their way through an uphill battle against X10 Esports who won two matches back-to-back against Team SMG and ahq-Esports Club. 

Bren Esports vs Team SHiFT (2-0)

Bren Esports went up against Team SHiFT and won 2-0 on Haven and Bind. While Haven was closely contested and ended 13-10, Bren steamrolled SHiFT at Bind with 13-4 victory. 

X10 Esports vs ahq-Esports Club (2-1)

X10 Esports won 2-1 and will be looking to redeem themselves and secure a finals spot tonight. They will go up against Team SHiFT for a last chance to win the tournament. 

Bren Esports are looking like the strongest team in the tournament and they will be facing off against X10 or Team SHiFT depending on which team qualifies tonight for the grand finals. With a 1-0 advantage at the finals, the team will enjoy a noticeable advantage and they need to secure just two out of four rounds to seal the tournament victory at the event. 

SEA Fire Championship 2020 Overview

The SEA Fire Championship 2020 is a tournament hosted by eFire League in partnership with Zack Solutions as the main sponsor. The Group Stage is ongoing and will last until December 28th, after which we will see two teams from each group of four qualify. All matches in the group stage are BO3, and the qualifying teams play between January 7th and 14th this month. The SEA Fire Championship 2020 Grand Finals will be a BO5 match with a one-map advantage being given to the upper bracket team Bren Esports.
