SEA Fire Championship 2020 Day 6 Results

Team SMG vs. NongWaen (2-1)

Team SMG and NongWaen competed for the top spot in Group B, and SMG came out on top with a dominant performance. They secured a 13-4 win against NW on Ascent and followed up with a 13-1 assault on Bind. Killjoy proved to be a crucial pick in both matches, and NW failed to answer SMG’s aggressive plays. The team of ZesBeeW, falfalfal, Kama, LEXY, Divine, and Aeozora will be heading to the quarterfinals of the SEA Fire Championship 2020 with a clean 9 points in the group stage.

Meloner vs Team nxl (1-0 FF)

Team nxl forfeited yet another match today, with the team departing the tournament with a disappointing winless run at the Valorant tournament. The match outcome did not matter for the group rankings as both SMG and NongWaen had secured their spots in the next stage. Both teams will be looking to improve their performances in the upcoming Valorant Champions Tour, which will commence in January.

The upper bracket quarterfinals will begin on January 7th. Group A’s matches have concluded, with Bren Esports and X10 securing spots in the next round. Group B’s NongWaen and Team SMG will be heading to the quarterfinals, with SMG securing all 9 points. The quarterfinals will have two brackets for a qualification, which will conclude on January 11th. Group C’s matches begin tomorrow, with some of the best teams in SEA competing in the group.
