What is The Game Awards?
The Game Awards is an event conceptualized by Geoff Keighley in 2014. The show’s viewership has grown from 1.9 Million in 2014 to 49 Million in 2019. The Canadian journalist has partnered with multiple publications, content creators, and developers to host the show in the past years. Winners are decided by the jury and fans via a voting system. This year’s event will be streamed live on December 11th at 8:00 AM SGT / 5:30 AM IST.
