The finals will kick off on December 3, and we will have Team Envy, 100 Thieves, Sentinels, Renegades, TSM, FaZe Clan, T1, and Immortals compete with each other for the crown. Sentinels and TSM are among the best teams in NA, but they have not faced each other since August. The last time the two Valorant behemoths faced each other, TSM took the win at the Faze Clan Invitationals. Since then, most teams have reshaped their rosters but not TSM and Sentinels. The same players will be battling it out against each other at the regional finals next week. Fans have huge expectations from them, and TSM’s triple duelist setup just might give them the edge they need against the competition.

After a rocky start, 100 Thieves’ Valorant roster went through a complete overhaul. Four former PUBG pros were part of the original team who left and made way for, Nick “nitr0” Cannella and Josh “steel” Nissan from CS: GO. Peter “Asuna”, and Quan “Dicey” Tran from Immortals were signed to the 100 Thieves lineup. The squad has been working well since then under captain Spencer “Hiko” Martin. The team’s success does not come as a surprise owing to the fact that multiple players have played with each other in the past, but they must not succumb to pressure. After a defeat by Envy in the NSG grand finals, it remains to be seen if 100 Thieves can seek revenge at the Valorant First Strike regional finals.

Team Envy – The Dark Horse

Team Envy is underrated in the NA Valorant scene. According to Jake “kaboose” McDonald, his team should not be called underdogs but just “very underrated” in North America. With no big streamer on the roster, they do not have the star power that some of the other teams headed to the finals enjoy. They are yet to secure a single win against Sentinels, TSM, and C9, who are the biggest teams in the NA Valorant scene. With Cloud9 going out of the tournament, we won’t even get to see a rematch between both giants next week. Envy will be looking forward to setting aside criticisms and show they are on par with the other superstar organizations headed to the Valorant First Strike finals.
