Noble Esports and Their Indian Valorant Roster Part Ways
- Simar ‘psy’ Sethi and his teammates have parted ways with Noble Esports.

- The news comes just days before the team was scheduled to start a bootcamp at Mumbai to improve their teamwork.
Noble Esports invested heavily into the Indian Valorant scene in September and signed some of the best talent in the country. But the team of Simar ‘psy’ Sethi, Tejas ‘Rex’ Kotian, Shakir ‘hikkA’ Razak, Harsh ‘Harsh’ Arora, and Sami "SSSami" Ar Rahman posted on social media, stating that the roster had decided to part ways with the organization, yesterday. Rahul ‘t1to’ Sridhar did not make any announcements on his social media profiles.
The entire roster is currently looking for a new organisation and sponsors. The reason behind the departure from Noble Esports was not revealed by any of the players in their announcements.
The Story Behind Noble Esports
Noble Esports is known for its teams in CS: GO, Halo, League of Legends, Heroes of the Storm, World of Tanks, gears of War and Dota 2. They entered the Indian Valorant scene earlier this year. The original Noble Esports Roster consisted of t1to and Rex who made their way from Phoenix Esports. Psy played CS: GO for the likes of Entity Gaming, Team Brutality and Invisible Wings. Harsh made the move from Team JHS. Finally, Shakir ‘hikkA’ Razzak is a Sri Lankan player who started his Valorant career with ZeGG Esports.
Noble Esports is based in India, and they not only signed their first Valorant team in India, but they also signed India’s first League of Legends Wild Rift roster ahead of the game’s release. Since the formation of the Noble Esports lineup the players performed well, but Velocity Gaming has been dominating the Indian Valorant scene and is yet to be dethroned. Noble Esports Owner Kyle Mcdougal, Hikka, and Psy announced on October 31 that a new boot camp is being set up in Mumbai.

The Future of Psy and His Teammates

One of the reasons behind the Valorant team’s underwhelming performance at Noble Esports could be the lack of synergy and practice. Psy revealed last month that “the main problem of us underperforming is Hikka is playing from Sri Lanka at 120 ping and 20% loss.”. Despite how new the team is, Psy and his teammates have proven to be a great unit. They finished 2nd and 3rd consistently in tournaments and have given Global Esports a tough time.
Currently, Velocity Gaming is the number one Valorant team in India based on rankings by vlr.gg. Velocity is now #2 in the APAC Region. Psy’s team is currently looking for sponsorships and a new organisation following their departure from Noble Esports. They won the ROG Showdown Valorant Open earlier this month with a 3-0 victory against Paratroop. Fans would love to see them build a winning streak under a new organisation, and we wish the players the best.

Noble Esports' Statement on This Matter
Noble Esports has since issued a statement on this roster development stating that they released their Valorant roster. Their statement reads:
"It’s with a heavy heart that we had to release our Valorant roster. There were some issues that factored into our decision but we wish nothing but the best to each and every one of these men and thank them for everything they did for Noble.
P.S - We aren’t done with Valorant in India and will be back sooner than you think."
Edit note: An earlier version of the article contained claims about Noble Esports canceling their boot camp and that the two parties, parted ways on a mutual agreement. These claims could not be verified and hence have been removed.
