Cover-Credits:
- G2 Esports have won four 'Ignition Series' events in a row, establishing themselves as the strongest VALORANT team in Europe.
- They have won a total of $55,370 in prize money so far, second only to Team Solo Mid.
- G2 Esports currently rank number one on the unofficial 'VALORANT World Team Rankings'.
The VALORANT roster of G2 Esports is definitely the most dominant European lineup at the moment, having won four back-to-back ‘Ignition Series’ tournaments with their latest victory coming yesterday night after defeating FunPlus Phoenix in the grand finals of Allied Esports Odyssey.
G2 Esports Are The Strongest VALORANT Team In Europe
G2 Esports has certainly struck gold with their VALORANT roster which is led by the 24-year old Spaniard Oscar "mixwell" Cañellas Colocho. Under his guidance and leadership the team has flourished to become the strongest European VALORANT roster, winning four out of the five European VALORANT tournaments which were held as part of the ‘Ignition Series’.
The team currently has a 100% win rate having won each and every VALORANT competition that they have participated in. The list of tournaments won by G2 Esports includes Vitality European Open, WePlay! Invitational, Mandatory.gg Cup, and finally Allied Esports Odyssey.

G2 Esports Signs The Golden Lineup
The only tournament that the team has not won is the G2 Esports Invitational which was the first ‘Ignition Series’ tournament to have taken place in Europe. At the time this tournament was held G2 Esports had not yet signed a VALORANT roster, but it was after this event that the winning duo of mixwell and davidp were signed by the Spanish esports organization due to their outstanding performance and understanding of the game.
Patitek and pyth who were also participating in this event for Team draken and Team Taimou respectively, were also signed to become a part of G2 Esports. Ardiis is the only member of the team who was not participating in that particular invitational, but he had previously played with mixwell at the Twitch Rivals: VALORANT Launch Showdown - Europe #1 which is probably why he was picked to join the lineup.
G2 Esports VALORANT Success
‘Ignition Series’ being a collection of grassroots tournaments to kick start the VALORANT esports scene has witnessed some of the best teams in each region participate in these events in order to gauge the competition while becoming the best team in the region.
Talking about the European region specifically G2 Esports has crushed every single team in the region convincingly to win a total of $55,370 in prize money while also establishing themselves as the most dominant VALORANT team in the region.

With the last ‘Ignition Series’ VALORANT tournament for Europe coming to an end, let’s see what lies ahead for the competitive scene. But whatever it might be G2 Esports are in a great spot for the coming times and it can comfortably be said that no other team from the region are even close to their level of expertise at the moment.
