- Dunia Gamers has announced the Indonesia Games Championship 2020.
- The tournament will have a prize pool of 108K USD.
Telkomsel announced the return of the Indonesia Games Championship (IGC). Telkomsel Dunia Games will collaborate with Garena to host IGC 2020 which will be held from May to September 2020. The tournament has a prize pool of Rp 1.6 Billion or roughly 108K USD.
The qualification round will be held online to maintain physical distance as advised by the Indonesian government during the COVID-19 pandemic. IGC 2020 is open for both male and female teams, amateur to professional players. There are two game genres which will be see at the tournament - MOBA and Battle Royale. In the PC category, League of Legends will be played while in the mobile category, Free Fire, Call of Duty: Mobile and Arena of Valor will be played.
Registration is open for participants across Indonesia from May 6th to June 2020 through here. Qualification rounds will be held in July and August 2020. A total of eight best teams from each game (12 teams from Free Fire) will be selected for the Grand Final in September 2020. The tournament can be live streamed through Dunia Games' website, social media, and YouTube, as well as Telkomsel's video streaming app MAXstream.
