Riot Games Hints at Indian Servers for VALORANT, League of Legends and Other Games
  • Riot Games Co-Chairman and Co-Founder hints at Indian servers with a Tweet stating "Patience".

Valve’s games like CS:GO and Dota 2 enjoyed quite a bit of popularity in the Indian region, with a huge player base and a relatively active esports scene in the recent past. Currently, PUBG Mobile which is by far the most popular gaming amongst the Indian audience also boasts a huge esports scene and an even bigger player base.

What do they have in common? Dedicated servers in India.

It seems like Riot Games will finally follow suit, with the release of VALORANT. Earlier this week, Marc Merrill, Co-Chairman and Co-Founder of Riot Games hinted at the possibility of Indian Servers from the company asking us to exhibit "Patience".

Considering the upcoming launch of League of Legends: Wild Rift and the massive populace of mobile gaming enthusiasts in the country, it would certainly be a smart move financially for Riot Games to launch an Indian server to capture its audience.
