Week 3 of the 2021 DPC Season 2 China Upper Division has come to an end, and with only one week remaining for the regional league to come to a close, it is time for the teams in the middle and bottom packs to fire their emergency boosters and fight for a spot at the next major. Team Aster remains undefeated in their games and is in the top position with a comfortable 3-0 W-L score and is looking likely to secure a  top 3 finish and book a place at the Major.

Week 4 of the Lower Division sees just two series remaining with the Top two teams of the Division already securing their promotion to the Upper Division next season. Phoenix Gaming finishes the season triumphant with an undefeated 5-0 score and will be favorites going into the Upper Division next season. “Lai Ba Zhan Shi” or LBZS trail right behind Phoenix Gaming, ending the season with a 4-1 W-L score and will also be promoted to the Upper Division regardless of the results in the final two series.

Week 3/4 recap and standings of the 2021 DPC Season 2 China

Upper Division

Team Aster remains undefeated at the end of Week 3 of the DPC with a 3-0 run. They have beaten the likes of Singapore Major winners Invictus Gaming (iG), Vici Gaming (VG), and PSG.LGD in their run so far. The pack of teams fighting for second place and a slot at the Group Stage of the next Major are EHOME, Elephant, and Royal Never Give Up (RNG), with all of the teams currently tied for the spot with the same 2-1 W-L score. Should one of the teams secure second place, the other two teams will still fill up the wild card slots for the Major.

Invictus Gaming, PSG.LGD, Vici Gaming are fighting to avoid relegation. One of these teams will likely join Sparking Arrow Gaming and be relegated to the Lower Division. Sparking Arrow Gaming, who was promoted from the Lower Division last season after finishing in the top spot with a 6-1 score finds themselves overwhelmed in the Upper Division.
