RNG has picked up former SAG carry Zhong "God-King" Liushuai and former CDEC offlaner Sun "Srf" Runfa
God-King is one of the most innovative, upcoming carries in the Chinese Dota 2 scene.

It looks like the great Chinese roster shuffle is finally happening after months of speculation. Earlier today, Royal Never Give Up (aka RNG) finally confirmed their new roster for the upcoming season. Chinese prodigy Zhong Liushuai aka God King from Sparkling Arrow Gaming has been picked up by the team to replace Du "Monet" Peng in RNG.

RNG’s Roster Shuffle

On August 26th, RNG announced the departure of carry player Monet and support player Liu "???" Yuhao to Team Aster.

So RNG’s current roster is:

Who is The God King and Why Are We So Hyped About Him?

Zhong “God King” Liushuai became popular with his tenure as the carry under Sparkling Arrow Gaming. The young carry has essentially reinvented the way that carries are played in the current patch. The player was the first to recognize the opportunity to optimize the way carries can disassemble items to make better use of the gold.

He was the first to build Sange and Yasha on carries and then later disassemble them into a Manta Style + Heaven’s Halberd. He also uses unique builds like Echo-Sabre on Anti Mage and a Sange and Yasha + Manta Style build on Phantom Lancer.

God King recently lead Sparkling Arrow Gaming to victories at the CDA League Season 1 and BEYOND EPIC: China tournaments.

The player is being considered as one of the brightest emerging prospects in the Chinese Dota 2 scene.

It will certainly be interesting to see how the God King fares in a much more well-experienced lineup at RNG.
