B8 Esports had a poor start in the professional Dota 2 scene after its inception. Dendi and co. simply did not click and went on to set a new record for most consecutive losses in professional Dota 2. However, after multiple roster shuffles, the team has finally clicked and are finally delivering after their recent roster changes.
B8 Esports removed carry, Steve "Xcalibur" Ye and Position 5 support, Nikola "LeBronDota" Popovi from the lineup and sent Andrey “Ghostik” Kadyk and Rinat “KingR” Abdullin, the offlane and position 4 support players respectively to the bench.
They picked up a bunch of new faces which ultimately lead to their turnaround. They were initially stand-ins at first, now they've been confirmed as part of the new B8 Esports roster.
Dendi Confirms B8 Esports’ New Roster With A Hilarious Video Reveal
In an animated video uploaded to B8 Esports’ youtube channel, Dendi officially announced B8 esports’ new roster.
Dendi personally commented on each of these players. He especially heaped praise on B8 esports’ position 4 player: 5up
He stated:
"5up is playing position 4 in our lineup. It’s like 7up, but 5up. He is a real Gosu (Korean term used to refer to a highly skilled player). A German. He’s mighty, sometimes he does things that I haven’t seen in 15 years."
Regarding the other support, Fishman, Dendi commented that he is a real tryhard.
“Our pos 5 is Fishman, A beast, volcanic, wild monster. He plays 40 pubs a day. Kills everybody. He’s got 94 heroes in his hero pool, doesn’t spare anyone”.
He also talked about Crystallis and LastHero in the video.
Hence B8 Esports' current lineup:
- Carry: Arets "Crystallis" Remco
- Mid: Danil "Dendi" Ishutin
- Offlaner: Oleg "LastHero" Demidovich
- Soft Support: Enis "5UP" Elfki
- Hard Support: Dmitriy "Fishman" Polishchuk
