TNC Predator Top The Group Stage Table at ONE Esports Dota 2 SEA League

TNC Predator looks like they’ve finally found their footing with the 7.27 and have stepped up in a big way at the ONE Esports Dota 2 SEA League. After TNC Predator’s recent win over BOOM Esports, they followed it up with yet another 2-0 victory over Reality Rift which took them to the top of the Group Stage tables.

This should be heartening for TNC Predator fans who haven’t seen the team rise to the top for quite some time now. Other Filipino teams like Geek Fam and Adroit had caught and arguably even surpassed them in the last few months. However, with the recent performances, it looks like TNC Predator is back to its best.

TNC Predator vs Reality Rift - ONE Esports SEA Dota 2 League Group Stage

Game 1: TNC Predator picked up quite the unorthodox lineup in Game 1 with Armel playing a Mid lane Doom and Gabbi playing his safe lane Dragon Knight. Although the game was back and forth in the early game phase, TNC Predator took control of the game by the Mid game and completely took control of the map.

Reality Rift cores still managed to find some farm on the map and looked like they were turning the tides with a big teamfight victory around the 35 minute mark. However, TNC Predator held strong and struck back with two teamwipes allowing them to close out the game and claim victory to secure a 1-0 lead in this series.

Game 2: TNC Predator’s Gabbi was the star of the show in Game 2 as he put up one of the best Anti Mage performances we’ve seen all year to carry his team to victory. After a great laning phase, Gabbi picked up a 15 minute Battle Fury and just kept accelerating at a rate that Reality Rift simply couldn’t keep up with.

He finished the game with a KDA of 19/2/11, 799 GPM and a networth of 24.1k (almost twice the net worth of the enemy cores).

In all likelihood, TNC Predator will be eclipsed by Fnatic later today, unless NEW Esports manages to take a game off them. But this is certainly some impressive performances that the Filipino team is putting up recently.

They have not lost a single series in this tournament so far and are looking like strong favorites heading into the playoffs. They’ve also likely secured a spot in the upper brackets of the playoffs barring a disastrous set of events in the upcoming week of the ONE Esports Dota 2 SEA League.
